ALICIA HABER // Alicia is a Uruguayan art historian who has been a professor, researcher and curator. She started dedicating herself to photography three years ago, and it has become her main activity. Alicia has shared a new series of photo art in which she creates a bridge between contemporary Uruguayan art and her photography.
ANWAR SADAT // Anwar is a Kenyan photographer whose images of life in his home town Kibera, Nairobi reflect the vibrance as well as challenges in his environment. Anwar shared a set of photos of a special dance performance by a local ballet programme for children run by Project Elimu in Kibera, Nairobi.
DANNY JACKSON // Danny is a passionate street, event, wedding, and portrait photographer from Essex. He candidly captures quirky and beautiful moments around him. Apart from photography, Danny enjoys all the arts. He shared a set of photographs from the Classical Spectacular at the venerable Royal Albert Hall in London.
MARY CRNKOVIC PILAS // Mary, originally from Sydney, Australia, has lived in Zagreb, Croatia since 1992, where she joined the Zagreb Photo Club. Though she is most interested in black and white street and documentary photography, she shared a colourful series of fire and light artistry from the annual Cest is d´best festival in Zagreb.
LI MULLEN // Li is an Irish born, London based photographer. Li’s passion for photography started at a young age. She now works as a freelancer for the arts/culture and fashion industries, documenting backstage life, events and exhibitions. Li shared with us a series on the White Cube exhibition Chicxulub by the artist Danh Võ.
KARIN SVADLENAK-GOMEZ // Karin is from Vienna, Austria, and has lived and worked in a number of countries. We present Karin´s series “Big Top”, which she photographed during a performance of the Palazzo circus in Vienna in 2019. Palazzo is an annual winter event, a dinner show combined with circus artist performances.
