DAVID GILBERT WRIGHT // David has been in photography for nearly 50 years. He specialises in documentary photography and works on long-term projects, including the one he shared with us about the York Mystery Plays, which re-enact scenes from the Bible.
LIA MAGEIRA // Lia is a self-taught Greek photographer, based in Athens, with a background in art. As a physiotherapist, she is always interested in humans and emotions. Lia shared with us photo series about an annual re-enactment battle spectacle in the Greek Spetses Island.
MARY CRNKOVIC PILAS // Mary is from Sydney, Australia, but has been living in Zagreb, Croatia for many years. She is passionate about black and white street and documentary photography, and with Spectaculum Magazine she shared a series about the “Bigheads” of Santiago de Compostela.
GEORG REITER // Georg is primarily a landscape and architecture photographer, but also does travel photography. His main concerns are to capture a mood and certain formal criteria. When travelling through Cuba, he came upon many musicians, and we are pleased to share a set of his vibrant musician portraits.
SHELBY ALEXANDER // Born in Adelaide, Australia, Shelby is a documentary and street photographer based in Bristol. Her project “One Night with Elvis” is a documentary of one of the quirky and entertaining Elvis festivals in the U.K., with impersonators doing their best impressions of their rock and roll idol.
