//Robyn, an artist residing in Alstonville, a quaint rural community close to Byron Bay in Northern New South Wales, Australia, possesses a keen appreciation for the beauty of the natural world. We are delighted to present her collection titled “Romancing Nature”.
“I am a botanical photographer and horticulturalist who shoots and edits exclusively on my iPhone XR. I have been schooled in the art of still life photography for years, working with my husband as his producer and stylist. I truly value the intricacies seen in nature and strive to reveal the exceptional detail present in all my chosen subject matter. I hope that my art will inspire discussion and exploration of nature,” Robyn says.

“The chance to expand your mind with beauty.”
What do you like best about this photographic project?
“I love its softness, colours and shapes and the possibility of inspiring other people to venture out into nature or their garden and discover the simple joys in life.”
Romancing Nature is Robyn´s latest series of images using flowers from her garden. “I hope to capture the incredible beauty of the simple things that we all can grow.”
Robyn shot all images in her home studio with window light then post processed them in 3 different applications. Firstly Hipstamatic to enhance the colours then Distressed FX to give a painterly effect and last but not least Formulas to create a dreamy romantic feel.
